I also was unable to appreciate the benefits of eating healthy food vs. I was also not present when eating in the past. Now, I’m a lot more conscious of the relationship between food and my body, on a physical, mental and emotional level. Because I was answering a lot of questions during the meal, I realized that it took my attention away from the food – specifically being present to the food and appreciating what I was eating.
